They may, but it would probably take a 6970 or nvidia equivalent to run this demo smoothly, and if the ps4 or xbox 720 had that card,? it would be way too expensive for consumers. Not to mention the processor would have to be a lot nicer in order to not bottleneck the entire system, so that would be really expensive too.

I know. But the proposed specs of the? xbox 720 and the ps4 are both too low for something like this to run smoothly. The unreal engine 4 will probably have trouble running smoothly on either system, and this looks like it may be even more graphically intensive than that. Also, we've found several cures for cancer. You may well be right, as nintendo loves gimmicks, and all it would be is google tech stitched together seemlessly with After Effects and presented in full motion. Who cares? GT5 was a typo. I really meant GTA5. Aaanyway, there is a camera? that can capture video at 360 degrees. Ever seen Google Maps? Its called a Panoramic camera. Plus you should see how blurry the image is. Wii U can produce 1080p visuals, so i'd expect the image to be less blurry. I thought they were Wii U graphics at first too, but its a "Panorama View Demo".

didn't you listen? they? rendered this off the GPU, so it's proprietary software Nvidia developed themselves to do this. In terms of outright horsepower the GPU has waay more then any CPU which is currently what most 3D packages use to render. If you have a fairly modern quad core it would probably take under an hour to render a frame.

But you're wrong when you say beauty, and hence good design, is *purely* subjective. There are things that "look better" to humans like odd numbers of things vs. even numbers of things. But I would? agree there is a lot of art involved in good design and something someone things is beautiful others might find repulsive. Now i am getting confused. I see that you have an ? object named g that has 3 other objects in it. How do you know which object is which since they dont have a name? I get that if you set a color then make a rectangle right after, that the rectangle gets the color, but thats where you lose me. The difference between "high" in this video and maximum settings.. bigger than the gap between low and high by a longshot. Also i think he edited his config file to shorten draw distances: mine? distances reach to the horizon without having to edit anything.. Go outside the Keadweni camp and you should be able to see the rotfiends all the way to the cursed fog.. From looking at his screen, he probably gets 30ft distance. Why on earth would you do a comparison video and keep the settings so low?

Have you tried the driver on the CD?? and you can download them, the way that is the most error proof is using the nvidia gpu autodetect feature on their site, i think you can figure it out from there (can't help further, i have a AMD graphics card)

There were 3d games around in the early '80s. They used the same vector graphics you can see in the vid. I know because I played some of? them: Battle Zone. Star Wars, etc. There were no render farms back then. They put a camera in front of a high res. screen, and it shot a still after the computer completed drawing frame.

@zviaditemp Ya i watched the a new hope a few days ago for the first time, and i seen that 3d animal as well. And it blew my fucking mind at first, cause 3d models hadn't even been invented yet, and so ya i was getting on youtube to see how the fuck that was even possible, but it think @colbynfriends is right. They must've went in and? edited in some full 3d models, cause in 1977 to make full 3d rendered of a giant monster, would be impossible. Cause that could be the only explanation.

It took video games almost 20 years in the future 1996, to become full 3d. And this is 1977 and that dude it rendering full 3d images......haha thats just fucking mind blowing! My guess it they most likely had a rendering farm, with its dozen, if not hundreds of computer all connected to one to have more memory and stuff. I can't remember exactly where I read it, but I heard that the beta weekends had high textures disabled, I'm not sure if it's because they weren't ready? yet or because they wanted it to be something they show off in the final release, but either way anything you saw in the beta events was lower than what the final product will have.

I sincerely hope they add more options to the video tweaks menu before launch. I'm certain they will, but I didn't even see particle effects things, etc. Separate toggles are ALWAYS nice to have, because even if it isn't performance, some people may not like massive spell effects and? may want to turn it down.

that was the gw2 server though with your settings if i were you i would do some upgrades. Games are getting to a point where to run high settings u need dual cores atleast 2.4ghz urs is there but? itd be a good idea to upgrade soon. I think your GPU is your biggest problem though & you MUST upgrade that asap. 256MB GDDR3 is very low these days and not great for newer games.
