I agree with the? comments. Playing shitty music through the good speakers (Polk) and a vintage Pioneer receiver is plain stupid and irresponsible. "Flexing" your woofers is unnecessary because those aren't subwoofers, idiot. Crossovers exist to distribute frequencies to the proper drivers, not for the excursion of woofers.

Huh? I still don't see your point, I think you're just a hater. I had these speakers for a year? before I made a video. Speakers don't need to be broken in, and every woofer is made for excursion.. that's why crossovers exist. The receiver is rated at 100 WPC, the speakers are rated up to 150 WPC. I know what I'm doing. So, politely fuck off.

If you wanna show the power of a Receiver then why not get speakers that actually do that like Def Tech or Paradigm or Martin Logan. Why do you think that the Polk's sound so much better than the Sonys? The tweeters? I think the B3000's tweeters? sound very good. I think the weak point in the B3000 are the 3 1/4" mid squawkers. They probably should've gone with a 5 1/4" mid but I guess they felt it unnecessary with the 8" woofer. It should cover the frequency range that the 3 1/4" could not...but I feel the mid-range it a little weak on the B3000 (only a little. My center fixes that)

I appreciate the offer, but there's no way I'm selling this puppy. Especially for a plain-Jane? 5.1 system. I'm not sure why someone offered you 2 grand for the stereo. I got this one for $200 of eBay a year ago, and I think I paid a lot comparatively. This one is in perfect, new condition though. Not one single scratch on it. The guy who sold it to me told me it was his fathers and it sat on a his study shelf collecting dust.

i hope you realise how rare and bad ass that reciever is. dont fuck it up testing the frequency range. perfect sound is like vision. 20 hz for low end and 20,000khz top end. you poped the relay? b/c you overheated the unit and surged it. be verry proud of that sx and dont take it for granted. it was demed the best reciever ever made in 74 and still holds that status. i was offered 2 grand for 1 of mine a month ago. i refused to sell it

They're not bad sounding speakers. I'd never buy them though as they have several known manufacturers defects. The potentiometers in the knobs get scratchy after only a couple months of use, and eventually the speakers become unusable. I've owned two sets of these speakers, problem happened in both of them. Some people also have? issues with the AC adapter, as I did with my first set. Either way, I'm putting them to good use lol

Those klipch speakers are kind of? shitty, I'd go for the Sony's. The Sony's are really nice, and to make them sound better get a new crossover for them. I have the ss-b1000 speakers (bookshelf 2-way)and I just made a new crossover for them and they sound really good and the bass comes in real nice.

Nice Pioneer I? had a SX-950 I believe it's rated at less watts per channel then your 1010but it rocked a pair of 12's rather nicely. You REALLY need to get a pair of decent floor standing speakers, at least 10's stay away from bookshelves you want big sound to go with that big receiver.

That really depends what you're comparing them too. But I'd say yes, given their size and price. However, I would NEVER recommend these speakers because the knobs on them? break and the adapter connection breaks, rendering them useless. I've owned two pairs and the same thing happened to both. It's a known manufacturers defect and it's only a matter of time before it'll happen. That's why I have them hooked to my stereo now. They don't work at all by themselves.

It doesn't come off. I don't even know how big the speakers are, probably 4.5-5". They came with a mini-system rated at 60 WPC, they are 6 ohms. Only? reason I have them hooked up is the treble is great from them. Problem is when I turn the volume up, I have to switch them off cause they start stinking. lol

Nuclear Waste Disposal CG (using HL1)

I made this video my junior year in high school (2002) for a chemistry presentation on nuclear waste disposal. I made the animations using the Half Life 1 engine and Hammer (then called Worldcraft). It took me a while to do because most of it was frame by frame. The song is from Need for Speed 2.

I used to have? the exact same issue. You just need to learn what level of complexity is too much for Worldcraft. That's why in this video, I didn't render anything ingame- it was all done in Worldcraft.
